After graduating from Bates College in 2019, Eliza began her journey in the independent school world as the Assistant Director of Athletics and teaching STEAM and Service within the classroom at IMS. Eliza is passionate about helping young adults reach their potential and develop their interests and skills through athletics and time spent outdoors. After her first year at IMS she stepped into the role of Director of Outdoor Adventure and Education and is excited to continue to develop the OAE program to its fullest capacity. Now entering her Sixth year at IMS, Eliza remains in her role as the Director of Outdoor Adventure and Education and is a member of our Admissions office. In 2024, Eliza completed her Graduate Degree in Independent School Leadership at Mount Holyoke College.

A graduate of Bates College, Eliza graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Philosophy. She was a 4-year member of the women’s varsity lacrosse team and captain her senior season. Sports have been an integral part of her life since childhood and she enjoys watching, participating in, and studying the many facets of sport. She even completed her senior thesis which examined the transformative nature of sport mega-events in society.
