Dr. Zachary McClain’s career began as a middle school teacher in New York City. From then on, he has committed his career to advocating for children and youth. Currently, he is the medical director at IMS and the Wieler Health Center at The Hotchkiss School. Prior to this, he was a general pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical work includes the full spectrum of adolescent health including primary care, reproductive health, eating and feeding disorders, medical management of depression and anxiety, and care for LGBTQ youth.
