During the Moving Up Ceremony in the Assembly Hall on the Upper Campus, Head of School Jody Reilly Soja offered welcoming remarks and Head of the Lower School Rebekah Jordan honored the class as they transitioned from the Lower to Upper Campus of Indian Mountain School. Her address highlighted themes from their year-long study, ChangeMakers. The students sang Home by Phillip Phillips and the Appalachian folk song Shady Grove accompanied by Ms. Banks.

 
Ms. Jordan, Mrs. Charles, and Mrs. Smith presented retired master teacher Kathy Pressman with news that her old pre-kindergarten classroom will be named in her honor.

After the traditional slide show created this year by Dana Simpson, the rising fifth graaders and their parents enjoyed refreshments on Stockton Field. We look forward to having this group on the Upper Campus next fall.
