Amy received her Fine Arts Degree at Parsons School of Design in New York City. After a career in fashion design, Amy and her husband, an artist, began a family and moved out of the city. Amy taught and developed art and educational programs on Long Island before relocating to northwest CT. Amy substituted and taught after-school classes at Salisbury Central School un l she accepted the position of art teacher at the lower school at IMS. Amy sits on the board of the Arts Fund For Region One, is the co-chair of Ar sts for Ar sts and the “artgarage” Amy is passionate about the value of keeping early education art new and vibrant and delights in sharing her knowledge with the children of the lower school.
