Michelle graduated from Manhattanville College in 2000 with a B.A. in English Literature. After a short stint in Galway, Ireland, post-graduation, Michelle returned to her hometown of Amenia, N.Y., to begin an unexpected career in bookselling. Michelle has managed Oblong Jr. in Millerton, N.Y. for the last eight years, where her focus has been on creating a love of reading in children–whether through story hours, author events, or her radio book review. Although she has had many jobs, Michelle has always been drawn to working with children, and she looks forward to bringing her love of learning and passion for books into her kindergarten classroom. In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Michael, and their dog, a Shar-Pei/ German Shepherd mix named Stella.
