The Boys Basketball program looks to build on a tough season last year. The varsity program is returning most of last year’s team but lost their leading scorer and best defender. Coach Del Visco will be looking for new contributors at both ends of the court. The JV program has a full roster this year and with a mix of young players and some older leaders, coaches Dewey and Barillaro are excited about being more competitive this year.

The Girls Basketball team also returned a majority of its players. New coaches Bush and Kokozska have a full roster, ready to learn the fundamentals of the game and continue last season’s development.


The Ice Hockey program has many new faces this season as last year’s very experienced teams moved on to the next level. The Varsity team lost almost all of its production from last year and will lean heavily on a few returning students for leadership. The JV program lost many of last year’s players to the Varsity team so it will also be a season of growth and development as well.


Squash would be hard pressed to have as good of a season as last year’s, having lost four of the top ladder players. With the departure of so many key team members, last years developmental players have a chance to step up and contribute to the success of the team this season.


The Swim team returns most of last year’s team. For many first year swimmers, last year was a very basic season, focused on fundamentals and learning the strokes. This season, many of the same swimmers will further their abilities and look to set some personal records.


With lots of cold weather and snow, the Ski programs are excited to hit the slopes. New ski racing coach, Kyle Halloran, will look to aid Coach Harris in continuing the strong tradition of IMS Ski Racing. The Rec Ski team is looking forward to enjoying some great winter conditions.


The Dance team has been working on the different dance techniques and will soon begin to prepare for the end of year show at the Winter Sports Awards.
