On parents weekend, October 10, the IMS community joined together under a beautifully decorated tent on Stockton Field to celebrate An Evening in Rio.  Parents, trustees, faculty, and staff joined together to socialize, dance, and enjoy the live auction hosted by Cate Smit, professional auctioneer extraordinaire.

A creative, talented, artistic and indefatigable team of parents transported auction attendees to an authentic street market carnival in Rio with beautiful decorations, food, live music from three different bands, Brazilian dancers, and incredible silent and live auction items. Leora Armstrong, Candace Hart, Wendy Casael-Lewis, Cynthia LaPier, Ani Shaker and Isabel Tonelli led a talented group of parent volunteers in organizing the enjoyable and extrememly successful evening. 

Proceeds from the auction benefit many IMS programs including financial aid, student activities, and services. This year was a huge success, and we wish to thank the entire IMS community for participating in this wonderful evening.
